Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil is the world-tree in Jotun that connects the nine Worlds. Only a few living beings are able to climb to its very top. Precious rewards and breathtaking views await those who manage to reach Yggdrasil’s crown. A shrine to the goddess Frigg and one of Ithunn’s precious apples are hidden among the boughs. However, a great danger lurks in the branches. Vethrfolnir, the hawk and his companion, the Unnamed Eagle, inhabit the top of Yggdrasil and fiercely hunt any living being that reaches the top of the World Tree. Yggdrasil is also the home of Ratatoskr, the Messenger, that spends his life carrying messages between the Unnamed Eagle and Nidhogg, the dragon that lives in the roots of the Tree (who we saw before, in the Cave Region).

Even higher than the highest leaves of Yggdrasil, is the bright and infinite Northern Sky. Where the Sun and the Moon dance, you contemplate the Infinite. Let the stars guide your way as you walk through the Northern Lights. Decode the constellations to discover secrets. The brightest light in the Northern Sky is also its greatest danger. Made of thunder, clouds and pure chaos, she is both mesmerizing and dangerous. Hagalaz controls light and electricity. A being of pure energy, she gets more powerful as she gets enraged. At her maximum power, she concentrates so much energy that her body duplicates, creating a clone that is as majestic, powerful and insane as herself. Above all living beings, Hagalaz reigns among the stars.
